Since 2021, The Tubman Travel Project, founded and led by Rev. Erika Ferguson, has been rewriting what’s possible for women traveling across state lines for abortion care. In a post-Roe, post-SB8 landscape, we haven’t just responded to crisis—we’ve created a new model rooted in dignity, care, and radical accompaniment. Now, it’s time to tell that story like never before.
All in One Day is our dream project: a documentary in collaboration with Beautiful Mess Productions that lifts the veil on the trauma-centered narrative that has dominated reproductive justice, replacing it with something far more powerful. This film isn’t just about access. It’s about freedom. It’s about what happens when care, courage, and connection converge in one extraordinary day of travel, healing, and choice.
This film will do what policy can’t and what politics won’t: it will change hearts, shift culture, and inspire the next generation of reproductive freedom leaders. Through real-life stories of women who’ve traveled with Rev. Erika, stories rarely told with this much intimacy and integrity, we will show the world that abortion travel isn’t just a crisis response. It’s a call to reimagine what care can look like when we lead with humanity.
All in One Day is more than a documentary. It’s a cultural intervention. A call to action. A tool for transformation.
We invite you to help make it real.
